Abstract

et ð´1, ð´2 and ð´3 be three nonempty subsets of a b-metric space (ð‘‹, ð‘‘) with coefficient 𑠠≥ 1, and let ð‘‡: ð´1 ∪ ð´2 ∪ ð´3 → ð´1 ∪ ð´2 ∪ ð´3. Suppose ð‘‡: ð´1 ∪ ð´2 ∪ ð´3 → ð´1 ∪ ð´2 ∪ ð´3 satisfies  
ð‘‡(ð´ð‘–) ⊆ ð´ð‘–+1  and ð‘‡2(ð´ð‘–) ⊆ ð´ð‘–+2 for ð‘– = 1,2,3 with ð´4 = ð´1 and ð´5 = ð´2 . A map ð‘‡: ð´1 ∪ ð´2 ∪ ð´3 → ð´1 ∪ ð´2 ∪ ð´3 is called a tri-cyclic convex contraction mapping of order 2, if there
exists 𑘠∈ (0,2ð‘ 2(ð‘ +1)) such that ð‘‘(ð‘‡2ð‘¥, ð‘‡2ð‘¦) ≤ ð‘˜[ð‘‘(ð‘¥, ð‘¦) + ð‘‘(ð‘‡ð‘¥, ð‘‡ð‘¦)] for all 𑥠∈ ð´ð‘–, 𑦠∈ ð´ð‘–+1, ð‘‡ð‘¥ ∈ ð´ð‘–+1, ð‘‡ð‘¦ ∈ ð´ð‘–+2 and ð‘– = 1,2,3 with ð´4 = ð´1 and ð´5 = ð´2 . In the present paper we prove such maps have a unique fixed point, provided (ð‘‹, ð‘‘) is complete
